| Artist's Comments: | This Magnificent view of a huge Orca Whale diving through the Giant Kelp Beds off Vancouver Island is indeed a "Majestic Sight". These are regular feeding grounds for the Transient Killer Whales (that only eat mammals) and the Resident Killer Whales (that only eat salmon). The "instant appearance" of such a large and magnificent whale is something very few people get to experience. This painting captures that moment for us all! |
