| Artist's Comments: | This painting is of a Humpback Whale's Tail, just as he dissappears into the choppy seas of his ocean home. This "last glimse" - almost unseen -amoungst the surge of waves, of this enormous whale as he decends so smoothly away from view, almost appears surreal....as if this tail was not attached to anything....that is how gracefully these huge Humpback Whales decend. I wanted to paint this last fleeting glimse "caught in time". |
